Things were looking good for the Bucks at the start of the third quarter on Saturday Night with a 80-74 lead. But it was all downhill from there when the Celtics outscored the Bucks 37-18. The Bucks had problems all night stopping the Celtics who shot 54.2% from the floor for the game.

Michael Redd led the way with 24 points. Andrew Bogut was solid around the basket with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Ruben Patterson (15 points) and Charlie Bell (13 points) each contributed to the offense.

The Bucks fall to 4-9 with this loss.

It’s amazing that the Bucks had to work this hard to beat the Sixers without Webber & Iverson. Michael Redd led the way with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Ruben Patterson had a really good game with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Andrew Bogut was tough in the paint with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Charlie Bell (13 points, 5 rebounds) and rookie David Noel (11 points, 7 assists) each played well off the bench.

The Bucks have improved to 4-8 on the season.

The Bucks were winning 71-68 after three quarters, but they got beat up in the 4th quarter 25-17 by the Pacers and lost the game.

Mo Williams did a great job directing the attack with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Michael Redd had a rough night shooting (9 of 24) and finished with 21 points and 6 assists. Andrew Bogut (14 points, 8 rebounds) and Dan Gazduric (13 points, 11 rebounds) were providing the muscle for the Bucks.

The Bucks lost another game that they could have won last night and have fallen to 3-8 on the season.

Bucks blow big lead and lose 102-100 to Pacers

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 21 November 2006 at 1:25 pm

The Bucks were winning this game 50-35 at halftime…..but the Pacers kicked their butt in the second half and out-scored them 67-50!

Michael Redd led the way with 21 points & 5 rebounds. Mo Williams had a very good game with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Andrew Bogut was a force under the basket with 14 points & 12 rebounds. Ruben Patterson (12 points, 4 rebounds), Ersan Ilyasova (12 points) and Charlie Bell (11 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists) all played well on Saturday.

The Bucks quite simply choked on Saturday Night. You have to win games like this one if you want to be a winning team in this league. The Bucks fell to 3-7 on the season.

Michael Redd is on FIRE!

Blogged under Front Page,Steppin' Up by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 10:28 pm

Michael Redd has been trying to carry the Bucks on his back so far this season. Redd is averaging 31.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game so far this season. Redd has been shooting the ball great from all over the court. Redd has hit 50.3% from the floor, 43.5% on 3-pointers, and 88.4% on free-throws so far this season.

Redd almost willed his team to victory against the Utah Jazz the other night when he scored 57 points. He’s one of the best players in the NBA.

Villanueva to miss 4-6 weeks

Blogged under Front Page,Injuries by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 10:22 pm

Charlie Villanueva will miss 4-6 weeks after tearing a ligment in his left elbow. The injury occurred against the Atlanta Hawks when Josh Childress fouled him hard. This is a huge loss for the Bucks. Villanueva has averaged 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists per game so far this season. Charlie was also hitting 49.5% of his FGs.

Look for Brian Skinner & Ersan Ilyasova will split Villanueva’s minutes until he returns.

Bucks thrashed by Nets 100-87

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 9:44 am

The Bucks didn’t play any defense last night as the Nets hit 55.2% of their shots and out-rebounded the Bucks 45-30…and it’s virtually impossible to win when you do that.Â

Mo Williams had a good game with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Michael Redd had his usual game with 25 points. Ruben Patterson had a decent game with 15 points & 5 rebounds.

The Bucks need to bring a better effort on the boards and on defense if they want to be a winning team in this league. The Bucks now sit at 3-6 on the season.

Bucks have big 4th quarter and prevail 103-101 over the Hawks

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 2:44 pm

The Bucks were lights out from the floor last night as they hit 50.7% of their shots. Michael Redd led the way with 30 points & 7 rebounds. Ruben Patterson pitched in with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Patterson also stole the ball from Joe Johnson on a fast break to seal the victory for the Bucks. Maurice Williams did a fine job leading the offense with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Andrew Bogut had a solid game at center, scoring 13 points & grabbing 8 rebounds.  One bad point about the game was the strained elbow that knocked Charlie Villanueva from the game after he scored 12 points in his 15 minutes of action.

The Bucks won despite getting out-rebounded 45-33. This was a huge road win that improved their record to 3-5 on the season.

Bucks have huge rally, but fall short 113-111

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Sunday 12 November 2006 at 10:55 am

The Bucks could have won this game if they played defense at any point in this basketball game. The Bucks allowed the Jazz to make 53.8% of their shots from the floor. The Bucks also got out-rebounded 44-29 which contributed heavily to the loss. The Bucks closed with a rush, out-scoring the Jazz 42-27 in the 4th quarter but it wasn’t enough to win.

Michael Redd had a fantastic night with 57 points and 3 steals. He played hard the whole game and some of the other players needed to do that. Ruben Patterson scored 18 points. Andrew Bogut filled up the boxscore with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Charlie Bell pitched in with 11 points off the bench.

The Bucks need to player better defense and rebound better or they will lose alot of track meets like tonight. The Bucks are now 2-5 on the season.
