Andrew Bogut is improving this season for the Milwaukee Bucks

Andrew Bogut is playing better around the basket this season and the Bucks are benefitting from that. Bogut has played in 13 games so far this season and he has averaged 31.2 minutes, 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.2 blocks per game. The Bucks need Bogut to stay healthy and keep playing good defense if they are to surprise this season.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Michael Ruffin for awhile

The Bucks will be without reserve power forward Michael Ruffin for the next 4-6 weeks as he has a broken wrist. Ruffin has only played in 6 games this season and he has averaged 7.7 minutes, 0.8 points and 1.0 rebound per game. Ruffin was buried on the depth chart behind Yi Jianlian and Charlie Villanueva so they shouldn’t miss him much.

The Bucks just had a little bit too much offense for the Grizzlies last night. Michael Redd had an outstanding game to lead the way for the Bucks with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Andrew Bogut ruled the paint with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Desmond Mason also had a decent night with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The Bucks are now 3-4 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 113, Milwaukee Bucks 88

The Bucks failed to show up for this game they fell behind 65-38 at the half. Couple that with the fact that the Spurs shot 55.7% from the floor and you can understand why the Spurs won by so many points. Maurice Williams did a good job of running the offense with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Michael Redd didn’t shoot much in this game and he finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Yi Jianlian had another solid game with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. The Bucks are now 2-4 on the season.

Houston Rockets 104, Milwaukee Bucks 88

The Bucks only shot 38.1% from the floor in this game and they were outrebounded 50-42 and that explains the loss to the Rockets. Michael Redd only shot 8 for 22 from the floor but he still finished up with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Yi Jianlian had his best game of the season with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals. Desmond Mason pitched in with 11 points. The Bucks are now 2-3 on the season.

The Bucks won a laugher as they hit 60.3% from the floor and they outrebounded the Raptors 45-32. Desmond Mason led the way for the Bucks with 21 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Michael Redd also had a solid game with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Maurice Williams did a good job running the show with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. The Bucks are now 2-2 on the season.

What an ugly game this was but the Bucks have no problem accepting this victory despite only shooting 32.9% from the floor. Michael Redd’s shot was off as he was only 8 for 24 shooting but he still finished up with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Yi Jianlian had his best game of the season to date with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Charlie Bell also had a solid game with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists off of the bench. The Bucks improve to 1-2 on the season with this win.

The Bucks had a lot of opportunities to win this ball game but in the end the Bucks just couldn’t finish. Michael Redd led the way for the Bucks with 21 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Maurice Williams also had a good game at the point tonight as he scored 20 points and dished out 4 assists. Rookie Yi Jianlian had another rough game as he only played 15 minutes and he finished with only 2 points and 4 rebounds. The Bucks are now 0-2 on the season.

Orlando Magic 102, Milwaukee Bucks 83

The Bucks played good in the first half against the Magic but the Magic pounded the Bucks 35-16 in the third quarter and never looked back. The Bucks only shot 37.9% from the floor as a team and that hurt them big time in this game. Michael Redd led the way for the Bucks with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bobby Simmons was the only other player that stepped up for the Bucks as he played 25 minutes off of the bench and he scored 18 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and dished out 2 assists. The Bucks are now 0-1 on the season.
