25-year old power forward Ersan Ilyasova has been sleepwalking most of this season.  He has played in 41 games (22 starts) for the Bucks so far this year and he is averaging 24.1 minutes, 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.  He is shooting 43.4% from the floor, 43% from three point range and 76.8% from the free throw line so far this year.  But, in his last five games, Ilyasova is averaging 22.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game.  The Bucks hope that Ilyasova keeps up the good work as he is finally playing like the player that they were getting when they signed him to a big, long term contract last summer.

The Milwaukee Bucks are getting solid production from their shooting guards

27-year old Monta Ellis is the Bucks leading scorer so far this year.  He has played in 40 games (all starts) for the Bucks so far this year and he is averaging 36.1 minutes, 18.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.  30-year old Beno Udrih has been the Bucks’ top backup and both guard positions this year.  He has played in 26 games (0 starts) for the Bucks so far this year and he is averaging 18.7 minutes, 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.  21-year old rookie Doron Lamb is having a rough time as a rookie for the Bucks.  He has played in 23 games (0 starts) for the Bucks so far this year and he is averaging 12.2 minutes, 3.4 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.  As long as Ellis and Udrih are healthy, I don’t see Lamb playing much.
